From October 9–12, 2025, the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) will host the Alabama Airgun & Smallbore Cup, a premier event that blends competition, camaraderie, and marksmanship excellence. Held at the Judith Legerski CMP Competition Center in Anniston and the CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park, this event promises four days of thrilling action and skillful precision.
The Cup features a variety of events designed for both seasoned competitors and rising stars:
- 60-shot international air rifle standing
- 60-shot air pistol matches
- 3×20 smallbore rifle matches for open and junior categories
- Target Sprint event on Thursday, October 9
- Team events and finals with awards ceremonies on Saturday and Sunday
These matches are ranking events with USA Shooting, meaning scores can earn EIC points for qualifying performances.
The Judith Legerski CMP Competition Center, named in honor of CMP’s longtime board chair, boasts:
- 80 firing points with MegaLink electronic targets
- A 20,000 sq. ft. air gun range
- ADA-compliant facilities and spectator-friendly displays
Meanwhile, the Talladega Marksmanship Park will host the smallbore matches, offering a world-class outdoor shooting experience.
